Transcript #mycleverchat: Facebook Brands

By Rob McNair

We’re now in our second week of running #mycleverchat, a weekly chat about social media and it’s platforms. Each week we talk about a specific topic, usually focusing on one platform although this changes from week to week. Below is a list of the highlights from our chat on Wednesday (31/10/12). Don’t forget to join us every week on Wednesdays between 1 – 2pm to get involved. If you want to see more of the conversation make sure you check out the hashtag #mycleverchat. We’re always open to suggestions about topics and questions so feel free to comment below to let us know.

Q1 – Should Facebook brand pages ask their community to ‘like’ a post?

Question 2 – Should brands be punished for breaking Facebook’s terms of use/service?

Q3 – What brands (trick or) ‘treat’ or ‘delight’ you? And, why?

Q4 – Should you be able to incentivise ‘likes’ for a charitable cause?

Q5 – Is there a gap between what companies are actually using Facebook for & what they should be using them for?

Q6 – What are the best metrics for brands to measure on Facebook?

Don’t forget to tune in next week, or join our Facebook event here.
