Our user-generated content campaign for client VisitEngland, England’s Hall Of Fame, built on national pride and enthusiasm for local features of great interest and historical value. A dual-phase campaign, England’s Hall Of Fame invited the people of Britain to share photos and stories through social channels to nominate and vote for Hall Of Fame entries.
Our team designed a bespoke microsite for VisitEngland to host these entries; this continues to be an evergreen asset for the brand. Here, people could upload and vote for their favourite attractions, landmarks and notable people.
Our campaign was also transformed into an exhibit on London’s South Bank, which attracted national media coverage as well as thousands of visitors. VisitEngland’s Twitter and Facebook following increased by 10% each, as the Hall Of Fame enjoyed hundreds of thousands of submissions.
