  • Works with Strategy Director, Head of Client Strategy and Senior Social Manager on pitches, upsells and clients’ business challenges

Role Responsibility

  • Client strategy – As a key element of the Client’s social media offering, you’ll have to understand the brand and be an expert on their products and services
  • Content creation – from shaping a content strategy to crafting updates and leading idea generation, with an instinctive feel for the right tone and approach
  • Reputation and community management – you will be the voice of the brand ‘on the tools’ or advising the client of social best practice
  • Measurement & insights – you’ll be required to review activity across owned and earned social media, crafting reports for clients that articulate results and activity concisely, as well as as offering valuable insight to improve performance
  • Creative management – able to brief and manage creative asset production to wider team, able to challenge and get the best
  • Paid Social – understand how Paid is vital to success, be able to brief and work with the paid social team to ensure maximum campaign success
  • PR & Blogger engagement – takes the lead over approaches and considers the value for influencers to be involved
  • Working knowledge of social media management and reporting tools (e.g.Hootsuite, Conversocial, Brandwatch, Social Bakers)
  • Analysing interaction and content, iterating and optimising community approaches, turning insights into campaign and content ideas

Reporting / Team Structure Reports to:

Senior Social Media Manager for all client activity and success.

The Production Director for matter of account production and efficiency, accessing the design, development and paid social teams

Line reports:

The manager may have one direct responsibility: an exec/community manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy Social Media Agency in Manchester. We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to provide extensive support to directors, senior staff members and the entire UK office.

As Office Manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of the office, financial administration, supplier agreements and maintaining HR records.

The PA responsibilities include diary management, the preparation of confidential documents and meeting minute taking for board level directors.

Main Duties:

  • Managing and prioritising the directors and senior managers’ time, including extensive diary and travel management
  • Attending management meetings, taking minutes and following up on action point
  • Preparing documents from draft through to final distribution
  • Maintaining and introducing templates for letters (ie. job offers, pay increase, dismal), minutes so that the format/style is standard throughout the office
  • Maintaining HR records
  • Planning and organising company events
  • Screening incoming calls, correspondence and enquiries to office members using own initiative
  • Ordering lunch for meetings/directors
  • Managing all mailing processes for the business
  • Managing print requests from design team and collections
  • Managing boardroom booking process on behalf of the office
  • Ensuring efficient and effective office management systems including catering and housekeeping standards
  • Devising and maintaining appropriate data management and filing systems in support of the work of the directors and senior management
  • Managing and ordering all office supplies (stationery, refreshments etc)
  • Updating birthday and staff job start anniversary details and organising cards/gifts
  • Adhering to health and safety best practice
  • Other ad hoc administration tasks

Financial Administration:

  • Preparing all supplier invoices and chasing payments
  • Reconciliation of bank credit/debit cards
  • Expenses receipt uploads for directors
  • Controlling employees expense budgets
  • Payroll amendments and updates monthly
  • Payment of supplier invoices
  • Payment of staff expenses
  • Become familiar with Xero Accountancy System and Receipt Bank

We require a seasoned and ambitious digital marketing manager for our social media agency based in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. At myclever Agency, we know exceptional social media marketing is driven by human insight. Based out of the UK since 2009, and now with a second agency in Canada, we work with global brands such as Nikon, RBS, Gumtree and Visit England to develop social media strategies that builds connections with customers.

Our agency is growing and we require a clever individual with a passion for brand building, communications, advertising, digital and above all social media marketing that can problem solve on a daily basis to reach and engage our highly sought after B2B prospects. You’ll be tasked with developing the myclever Agency brand as an in-house marketer. This is not an agency role with multiple clients; MCA will be your brand to develop and grow. You will thrive on working autonomously and proactively with the support of all staff resources and you will report directly to our Strategy Director.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience implementing PPC, display, social, outreach, content, email, and inbound campaigns. We have a collaborative and positive culture, so a vast support structure will be provided for this role from idea generation to campaign production. That said, this is a full spectrum role so it requires a true leader. Responsibilities range from researching and copyrighting blog content, running the various social media communities to submitting a board-level management report including lead gen and ROI analysis and everything in between.

We require the candidate to own and lead myclever’s brand development with the objective of acquiring valid leads for our UK and Canadian agencies.
