A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced full-stack web developer to join our award-winning agency based in an amazing office space in Manchester's Northern Quarter. Due to our continued growth, we require a progressive and adaptable individual with a passion for all things digital.

As a full stack dev you will have strong back- and front end development skills, and know your stuff when it comes to UX. You'll be working in a fun and dynamic team, that gets a kick out of delivering fresh and clever versions of websites, apps, games and other exciting digital things for our international customer base.

You will primarily be responsible for maintenance of existing sites and applications as well as the building of new applications, and managing and developing the agency’s internal framework and current website portfolio, and administrating the AWS hosting infrastructure.

You'll be working proactively with the support of the agency's production resources, and will report to the Head of Content Production.

You'll be key in determining technical direction and work closely with a project manager to produce technical specification documents, formulate deliverables and timelines

Primary Responsibilities

  • Development of PHP applications
  • Development of Node.js applications e.g. bots for Facebook
  • Development and maintenance of internal PHP framework built on Laravel 5
  • Communicating and pitching development elements of projects to key stake-holders
  • Experience using a front end framework e.g Foundation

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Linux server skills for maintenance of Nginx and Apache application deployment
  • Designing and developing emails for single or bulk transmission

Technical Requirements

  • Responsive/mobile-first development
  • Strong HTML5 and CSS3 experience
  • Experience of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram API integration, REST
  • PHP, MySQL, JavaScript/jQuery/Ajax
  • Comfortable on the Linux command line (Bash, SSH)
  • Experience using version control i.e Git / Bitbucket
  • Domain name and DNS management
  • Application testing and debugging

The Account Director position is a full-time, on-site role, working with our myclever™ teams across Content, Copywriting, Development, Design and Paid Media. This is an experienced Account Director who acts as the link between the client and our internal client services and production teams, retaining and growing existing business through the pursuit of profitable growth opportunities across your UK and Global client portfolio. You will have extensive knowledge of paid, earned and owned media and be able to create and deliver at a strategic level as well as on a campaign by campaign basis.

This position is best suited for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years' agency experience in a senior Client Services role. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to develop a culture of client service excellence in your current role. You will ensure myclever™ values are maintained and the team is held accountable to them with a strong work ethic. You will work to secure and retain the existing client portfolio and ensure that opportunities to grow are identified and delivered in a timely and profitable manner. From time to time, you will also assist on new business and respond to briefs and project manage the creation of pitch documents. You will nurture strong client relationships and intervene with solutions to problems before they are escalated. You will ensure all campaigns under your charge are performing to the highest standard. You will also be part of the myclever™ Leadership team and as such demonstrate strong leadership skills and accountability with other members of the Leadership team for day to day agency operation.

Client Services excellence

  • Be central in client on-boarding, kick-off meetings and quarterly reviews
  • Ensure internal and external SLAs are achieved
  • Monitoring of the overall temperature of the client relationship
  • Researching and writing strategic and campaign proposals for both existing and prospective clients
  • Ability to lead client strategy meetings (primarily in-house; frequently by phone and/or video chat; occasionally on-site with clients)
  • Regular and transparent client communication (weekly updates and monthly reports)
  • Build relationships with production teams and key stakeholders – both internal and external
  • Responsible for overseeing and delivering successful paid, earned and owned campaigns, demonstrating revenue goals, efficiency and volume – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Google, Bing and any other relevant ad serving platforms
  • Working closely with Sales and Marketing to help with client case studies, testimonials, leading prospective client pitches and proposals, attending industry awards as a representative of myclever™
  • Competitor research and insights for quarterly client meetings to support client strategy and approach
  • Oversee that all tracking and analytics is in place, setup correctly ready to monitor campaigns
  • Identify opportunities for new lead generation and opportunities to further improve campaign profitability
  • Contribute to campaign performance reports, using data to tell stories, and provide actionable insights for team members as well as clients
  • Exceptional team management skills, identifying training requirements and developing the talent of the team
  • Passion for online marketing and thrives on results-driven success
  • Budgeting and financial planning and forecasting for both clients and internal agency stakeholders
  • Weekly status report for Operations Meeting and monthly status report for monthly Board meeting

Professional Experience / Qualifications

  • Degree educated
  • Minimum of 3-5 years managing a high performing team in a senior client services role

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum 4 years agency sales experience (online marketing) selling to blue chip companies. You will also possess a keen interest in social media and it's use in the B2B arena and will be looking for the next step in your career progression in this highly buoyant sector. The role will involve face-to-face sales meetings & presentations, both in and out of the office.

  • Aggressively prospect for new clients via phone & email using combination of the company's sales CRM, personal contacts and cold contacts.
  • Work closely with the senior management team to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
