TransPennine Tour De France

Le Tour de Yorkshire

The Brief

When Leeds played host to the Tour de France Grand Départ, TransPennine Express knew they had a busy schedule ahead of them. Drawing tourism from all over the UK, Europe, and the world to the north of England meant that public transport was going to be hectic and thriving.

The Approach

As part of our ongoing relationship with Transpennine Express, we were keen to put our designers to good use and promptly drew up an infographic for the brand to post on its social media platforms. The original format was a longer, more geographically familiar layout, but for marketing and publication convenience we also produced an A4 design.

The Results

While the poster itself expressed primarily statistics and facts regarding the Tour de France in England, by utilising the established art style and brand tone of voice of TransPennine Express we were able to reinforce users' positive associations with the company. This served to remind them of the advantages of opting for their services when travelling by train.
