To an outsider, the life of a community manager or one of those people that sit on Facebook for a job is all fun and games. Sadly, it isn’t all the time. We actually have to do real work and deal with actual people and problems. So here’s my interpretation of our lives and the every day struggles we all have to endure. As with most of my posts I have to do it in GIF form, otherwise it’s just boring.
You explain to someone what you actually do for a job
One minor change on any given platform, changes EVERYTHING!
The post that you think isn’t that strong but the client loves does really, really well (We’re talking about smashing all previous post engagements)
The people who can’t Internet
When there’s customer complaint after customer complaint
Your bosses and clients actually like your content ideas
“Creative” time (aka sitting on reddit finding GIFs)
Actually helping someone
Your campaign takes off without having to pay a penny to Facebook
Your job involves GIFs all day, every day
Just remember we sit on the Internet and people are well jealous of us. We’re the “cool” kids of the Internet.
