Facebook Update: Facebook Save Feature

Facebook Update: Facebook Save Feature

By Liam Foy

Facebook announced yesterday that it was introducing “Save on Facebook“.

This development will mean that Facebook users are able to save items such as links, places, movies, TV and music. There’s essentially two main areas of this change:

  1. Save it, view it anywhere – Users will be able to view their saved items on the go by clicking on the “More” tab within the app. The saved items will be organised by whichever category they’re part of. As with most aspect of Facebook, you’ll be able to share your saved items with your friends.
  2. Receive reminders – Every so often, Facebook’s going to pop a reminder in your news feed about your saved items (just so you don’t forget they’re there).

The update will be rolled out over the coming days so make sure to update your iOS or Android app!

Over to you.

What do you think? Will you use the “Saved” feature?
