Three – #HolidaySpam
Three have launched their summer campaign to support their free overseas service. Taking advantage of the social trend of sharing endless holiday photos, hotdogs or legs, plane wings and travel selfies, the telecommunication giants have shown a high level of social awareness and collated it into a nice little micro site at stopholidayspam.com; The Holiday Spam Crisis Centre.
While the simply concept is inspired the execution could have benefitted from more social integration. The hashtag #holidayspam ties the campaign together quite nicely and followers are encouraged to use the hashtag on their own posts but there is little in the way of a call to action to inspire traffic to the micro site, which is a real shame.

Mercedes – #GLApacked
Mercedes have launched a campaign that takes advantage of Instagram influencers alongside a microsite and a competition. They state that every day with the new GLA is a blank canvas so they challenged key creators and influencers to show how they make their mark using a space no larger than the GLA’s cargo space.
Fans can then select the cargo that best suits their life for the chance to win a selection of items inspired by that category.
